Ringers Report - July 2015. Kieran Lawrence - Whitburn CP, Durham. July 1st saw the start to my 2 month storm-petrel ringing season, ringing each night at Whitburn CP, Durham with help from NGB Daniel McGibbon and ex-NGB Tom Middleton. By the end of the month we had amassed a respectable 126 new birds and 3 controls, 1 of which having been caught at Eyemouth the precious year but yet to find out about the other 2! Sophie Barrell- South-West Lancashire.
The bird was only a couple of metres from me. The branch of the Scots Pine swayed precariously as it tried to find its footing, but it managed to keep its footing. An ornithological wallflower not much bigger than a wren. But without a doubt,in my opinion, definitely the strangest. What makes it so strange? But of course, there are several example.

I noticed that the web site stated " This summer I was lucky enough to participate in a week long Young Birders Training Course on the Isle of May hosted by the SOC." They also stated " I will be writing up my experiences shortly but due to the large number of photos taken, I decided a separate post showcasing them species by species would be appropriate. Od ostatniego postu na tym blogu minął już ponad rok. Nie wiem nawet dlaczego dzisiaj postanowiłam się tu zalogować i coś napisać. Może dlatego, że siedzę w domu chora i potrzebuję przerwy od nauki do kolokwium. Sama się zdziwiłam, że pamiętałam login i hasło. Nie wiem po co o tym wszystkim piszę. Może to też jest jakiś rodzaj terapii? Życzę Wam wszystkim dużo miłości. Chociaż i tak na pewno nikt tu już nie zagląda. bo i po co? A teraz już wracam do nauki gdyż w weekend czekają mnie dwa ważne zaliczenia.
