It is almost a year since I started this blog. I am still here and I am still searching for my Maori past. The search itself goes in cycles, when I get around to it, every time I sit down and start reading up on Maori history, ancestry and culture I seem to lose myself. It is like a story, a story written by someone else and I am trying to find all the missing pieces and write the ending, all this without knowing the original author.

I have a feeling that this post will be long and personal so it is mostly written for myself but if you wanna read go ahead.
