By Douglas Thomas and John Seely Brown describes how the mechanistic nature in which we educate our students does not match the way people are learning outside of school and in the workplace.

I noticed that the web site stated " here she reflects on her experiences in her elementary school classroom in a constantly growing and diverse school." Learn more, Do more, Be more. Schools as a Micro culture. 8221; the loss of a staff member mid year is intense. Especially of a staff ember that spent the latter part of 14 years with the school. Just saying it was a somber day. I learned that many students mourn differently as do adults. The realities of the world are not sheltered from in school despite our attempts.
