My main advice is just to enjoy your first year as it comes to you. Meet as many people as possible so that way you can decide what group of people you fit in with the best with. You only have one year to be a freshmen at college, make the best of it. Overall I feel that the second essay was just a little bit better than the first one overall. They both had different strengths and weaknesses, but the first one was a overall a little bit sh.
