Just a few ramblings from the world of a PR student. In my last stretch of the semester, I have the amazing opportunity to complete an internship. In this way, I could get even more experience.
This blog started as a class assignment, but since everyone else is blogging and documenting I thought I would hop on the bandwagon. Putting my thoughts for everyone on the internet can be scary, but I guess it is a good of an outlet as any to discuss and document the chronicles of me.
I agree following one company did become repetitive after the weeks started to pass by, but this class did introduce a variety of new takes on social media. If you take practicum you have to make your own social media resume which is like the website portfolio you are talking about.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Lessons Learned from a Crisis or Two." I noticed that the web site stated " Aids in Africa would be such a productive use of Public Relations." They also stated " If the message is received by these people, we can effectively change the spread of this disease. then why arent we doing it? With as many skills as we possess in creating a message in less than 180 characters and rapidly posting up to date pictures of every event, why have we not been successful in Africa?
