Be Bald and Free Day. The holiday that I think is way too under appreciated is on October 14th and almost no one knows about it. It is National Be Bald and Free Day! This is possibly the best holiday of all time and almost no one has ever even heard about it. It gives hope and happiness to people that are bald and gives them reason to be FREE. Well that is my favorite holiday and it is most certainly under appreciated.
What holiday do I think is under appreciated? Hmm I am going to have to go with flag day. When the 14th of June roles around, nobody seems to notice flag day.

A holiday that I think is under appreciated is Groundhog Day! It occurs on February 2nd each year. I feel like every year at school people talk about the day, but people just vaguely know about it. No one knows the facts for sure and they just kind of go based off what everyone else says. If Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, that means six more weeks of winter.

The site had the following in the homepage, "If i had to choose one holiday that is too overlooked, it would absolutely be Martin Luther King Jr." I noticed that the web site stated " Yeah, we get a day off from school but is that really enough awareness? This man changed history and sacrificed his life for a better cause, and all we do is make the weekend a little longer." They also stated " There should be parades!
