I think our dance forms piece is clearly showing that our stimuli was based on Merce cunninham. I think our arm lines and balletic footwork have improved and now are very successful. I also think that my eye focus has really improved. I still think that our interpritive skills can be improved to make the dance look complete. Target 1- Change some of the transitions to make it more slick. Target 2- Concentrate on movement memory.
Doing my final lesson of dance forms we began to make all of our small dance forms pieces into a group performance. using canon and pausing we were able to create this group dance. we also would on transisitions on and off the stage, as well as our begining freeze frames, for example my group sway very slowly back and forward.
Merce Cunningham was bourn in Washington in 1919. He was considered as one of the most important choreographers of our time when he passed away in 2009. As well as performing with his company, he also trained some of the worlds most well known choreographers of today, some of these being names such as Karole Armitage, Trisha Brown, Jonah Bokaer and may more.

Me and Sophie rehearsed the lift and now we can perform it properly, safely and confidently. We also rehearsed timing with each other in the unison sections of our dance. I feel very confident working with sophie as shes a good dancer and a confident person herself. Whilist performing dance forms in the lesson i fou.
Well what can I say? We have finally reached our last day together, and it was certainly a day of reflection, fun and a few tears! I hope you and your families have a fantastic summer.
