I finally got the frame welded together. I used arc, mig and tig welding. I found it very difficult to mark out the round bar and to get it square. I sometimes wished i had chosen the box. We made it to the Semi-Finals of the Robot Wars, then we were knocked out due to the robot spinning out of control. It is unknown why the robot behaved in this manner, it functioned correctly on a number of occasions throughout the morning.
