Welcome to my EDTECH 501 Learning Log. This log will be used to display artifacts for the course and for reflection. Additionally, classmates may provide feedback on items. With the semester now drawing to a close, it is time for reflection.
The Tests, Trials and Tribulations. In this mission, there were four games that we played, each with a takeaway about what makes a game a game. Rules of the game define the possible actions of the players. Rules are unambiguous, intelligible, and apply for all players. No game can be played without the interaction of the player. The player recognizes and learns fundamental pattern.

It is also important to avoid trapped space or rivers. It can be tempting to try and get fancy with text and orient it in unusual positions but it can create confusion for learners. It is best to place text next to the appropriate graphic and use an easy to read pattern. Beginning designers should stand back and squint to reveal trapped space when the are starting out.
