Posted by Captdhd in 52 DC Challenge. All I have done since March has been to work. Exercise has included not much more then to walk or carry a golf bag. Not quite the same as pressing it at the gym.
Is free and open to all men and women who want to participate. The cool thing is - you. Get to set your own fitness goals, and you. This 52 Day Challenge actually has a set starting date. There are 5 challenges per year, and the next one starts on August 12, 2015. I was able to do an amazing job of losing 70 pounds over 7 months since Octob.

2 heavy lifting sessions this week. Ii started the week on Monday running 5 miles. Immediately following I did a heavy lifting session of midpulls, weighted dips and squats. I followed the hiah protocol of a 4-6 RM, up ton25 reps. On Tuesday I ran 3 and followed the same protocol, but did a set of splits.
Time to Kick It Into Gear. Well, the new 52 DC starts tomorrow. I ended up with over 3 miles and had burned over 500 calories! The starting line awaits and I am ready! .

I enjoy bicycling and am now living in a part of the country that I can ride for most of the year. We do not get the hot weather from the desert valley below us, nor do we get the accumulation of snow like states further north. One of my goals in my fitness and weight loss program is to become a better cyclist.

Just a quick post because I have to get back to the gym for a double and into work. I made it through my training, graduated and have been on the trucks for about 6 weeks now. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have gotten the best job in the world. I am really pumped to be getting back to a 52DC as it has been a while and I have figured out that I am the type of person who needs goals to function properly.
