I believe shared reading is a vital part of reading education for many reasons. The different shared reading experiences have so many positive impacts on student learning. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. During our class meetings and readings for the Psychological Bases of Reading course, we have discussed and broken down the processes of reading. The brain is stimulated in many ways during reading and by reading that we never are even conscious of. The process of reading manipulates many unconscious variables to simply read a passage.
