I wrote this introduction and started this blog in September of 2009. 8220; This blog is the tale of a drunk.
It works most of the time. But not all the time. Then the rest can follow.
I am so sad and tired. I just want to hide all day and sleep. I turned on the fan and left to go bring my son to the store to buy some chips for his choir party. When I came home an hour later it still smelled like smoke and the mess was still there. There is no parenting going on. There is no instruction for these kids and there is no responsibility placed on them to take any action for their messes.
What my lapses and relapses have tought me. This is a post for myself to refer back to if I EVER feel like drinking again. If this helps anyone else that is awesome too. A lapse is one night of drinking followed by getting back on the horse the next day.

Tomorrow is the boyfriends work xmas party super late, and neither of us will be drinking. Will be interesting to see how they react to us not drinking this year, as last years was a disaster.
