In high school, I was a perfectionist. My essays, and really any writing assignment, would take me hours and hours to complete because I had to make sure they were perfect before turning them in. Where true beauty is found. Maybe because it was difficult to form into words the emotions I had involving the book. All in all I feel as though through this course my skills have grown and stretched and I feel more confident in my writing. Besides that, writing will always b.
This past semester in this writing course has been a great learning experience that I wish I could have taken advantage of during my freshman year. However, I am grateful for the opportunity to build my writing skill as I have improved in areas that I always thought were a lost cause. I have struggled and continue to struggle with where to put that stupid semi-colon! Write on, my friends.
Being an elementary school teacher will require some writing. I will have to write newsletters to parents and course outlines or instructions for my students. Leave it out of the game.
