This is my finished batman bike. I am pretty happy wit the way it turned out but i would be happy if I put a bit more time into it and added a few more extras and maybe even got it going but overall im happy with the way it turned out.
A hole was drilled in the crossbar. I made a small bracket for the mudguard so that it could be riveted well to the frame using the pop-rivet gun. It was sprayed yellow first and when dry orange was added and when that was died the laquer was sprayed on. The sticker on the tank shows a Maori Tribal face tattoo.
Over all i am really happy with how my Bike turned out. Although there a slight differences to what was originally decided i feel that the changes have not made it any less effective. Infact some of them have improved the look of the bike alot for example the brackets on the mudgaurds. I feel that the theme of my bike is very clear and am delighted with the end result.
Handlebars and attaching them to the frame. As i had already used a set of goalposts as the back for my seat i decided it might be a good idea to try and incorporate a set of goalposts into my handlebars as this would complete the rugby pitch with two sets of goals and rugby field. How would i incorporate goalposts into handlebars though? Here is a completed photo of the goalposts.
I used different shades of Metallic sprays throughout my project, Separating where necessary. Methods of separating included Stencils or Masking Tape. Problem with tape was that it removed paint after It was removed.
Fillers, paints and finishes. Fillers, paints and finishes. I am starting to see some things coming together on the bike for the first time and I really feel I will get it done. I have removed the engine for spraying. I had to insert a angle .
I finally got the frame welded together. I used arc, mig and tig welding. I found it very difficult to mark out the round bar and to get it square. I sometimes wished i had chosen the box. However I am happy now that i didnt as i think the round looks very well. i will take these new found skills with me into my future Teaching jobs.

This test was not accurate as the lighting in the room was not similar to the real one as we found out on the day which unfortunately led to problems. Mdash; Leave a comment. Mdash; Leave a comment.
