I hope she gets assistance along the way because she is truly sweet and willing girl to work with. Last Monday, after reading with a child, I did notice spelling words on the board, which, were dealing with prefixes. But I guess reading was more important than a spelling lesson, because the child missed it and was instructed to copy down the words.
